Lillian Custom Homes has become one of the fastest-growing builders in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in a short period of time. New Home Sales Consultant

Previous experience in new home sales preferred.

  • Commission based.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Work 5 days per week including weekends.

Junior Sales Associate

At least 1 year of sales/industry experience is required.

  • Assist the Sales Consultant(s) in selling new homes.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Part-time 29 hours per week.
  • Friendly with great customer service skills.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.

Drafters/Designers - Residential CAD Tech

Previous experience required (2 years or more)

  • Assist the Design Development Department with production drafting utilizing Autocad 2016 software.
  • Require CAD Tech to modify existing stock plans, correct and update these plans to our current standards.
  • Produce preliminary and construction documents from sketches provided by the Residential Designer/Design Development.
  • Managing deadlines between multiple projects.
  • Assist in updating, organizing, and managing the CAD drawing files. 
  • Knowledge of Local codes and ordinances is a plus.

Construction Builders

At least 5 years of home building experience required.
  • Schedule and supervise daily trade partner activities in accordance with job schedules and business partner signed scopes of work.
  • Plan and schedule all construction activities on homes from start to finish in the assigned community.

  • Inspect and ensure that work follows City/County/State requirements and building codes.

  • Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.
  • Maintain homes under construction in addition to the community itself in a condition presentable to our customers and within the acceptable standards of the company.
  • Communicate construction progress and home completion date to the company by accurately updating and submitting the weekly production report.
  • Maintain the construction documents (lot files, trade associate files, and plan rack) at the job site so that all pertinent information is readily available to management and the other field associates.

  • Act proactively to resolve home buyer or homeowner issues and ensure compliance with the company's safety program.

Area Construction Manager

At least 5 years of new home construction experience required.

  • Plan and direct construction activities in the field either directly or through utilizing your construction personnel.

  • Responsible for the profitability of the homes being built in their subdivisions and managing all costs by reviewing field purchase orders.

  • Interfacing with public agencies in obtaining all necessary permits and approvals, or working with the drafting and starts departments in obtaining these permits and approvals.

  • Total involvement with training, communication, and development of field personnel.

  • Oversee field operations, productions times, and ensure quality control so that the homes built meet the Lillian Custom Homes standards and are ready for homeowner orientations/occupancy.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Operations Director

Execute the company business plan as it relates to operations and ensure all departments are meeting or exceeding stated goals & objectives.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Management required.
    • Must have at least 3 years of operations experience in residential construction.
  •  Responsibilities
    • Champion the recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, and disciplining of the operations teams as needed.
    • Lead and direct teams in the implementation of new programs and systems. 
    • Ensure real-time intervention into problem areas across all operations departments. 
    • Develop presentations and present findings with recommendations to the operating groups and senior management.
    • Develop and report weekly on appropriate KPIs to measure and predict performance, growth, and efficiency.
    • Build strategic relationships with agents, brokers, vendors, sub-contractors, developers, etc. to ensure continued success in meeting company goals and objectives. 
    • Monitor, evaluate, and report on construction costs and ensure adherence to budgets. 
    • Prepare, update, and maintain monthly closing calendars for distribution both within and outside the organization.

Design Center Consultant

Responsible for all operational aspects of the design center including, but not limited to, monitoring buyer schedules to ensure that the team remains on track with agreed-upon expectations and staying current on design innovations, trends, and ideas.

  • Qualifications:
    • Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred and new home construction experience is a plus.
    • Must be a proven leader with 3-5 years of interior design and/or design management experience.
    • Great customer service skills and computer experience required.
    • The ability to work with web-based computerized design systems is required

    • Must have a professional attitude and demeanor working in a design showroom environment

    • Knowledgeable about innovation and trends, both in and outside of the industry
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Problem-solving, creative solution skills, and ability to build strong working relationships with homebuyers and trades.
    • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
    • Impeccable aesthetic, attention to detail, and love of design.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Taking appointments, meeting with clients, and attending weekly builder status meetings as required.
    • Maintain product in the design center; remove outdated selections, and ensure new product offerings are on display.
    • Manage agreed-upon deadlines and timeframes as defined in the company’s scope of services.
    • Provide status reports and required metrics for the company and the customer as needed and defined by the contract.
    • Work collaboratively with other company teams, including sales, construction, and purchasing, on new company and design center options and offerings.
    • Stay up to date on product knowledge through monthly meetings with vendors and internal staff to ensure that industry product knowledge is relevant and meets the needs of the customer and the company.
    • Works with the client and other company teams to ensure operations and design installations are completed. Addresses field-related issues if design center related.
    • Responsible for the development and communication of sales metrics, reporting, and auditing on design center options.
    • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned and maintain design center systems.
