Lillian Custom Homes is proud to build not only quality homes but energy efficient homes that can save our homeowners thousands in electricity bills every year. We've partnered with Efficiency Promise and Energy Star to provide a new home that won't break the bank.
It's easy to make a promise, but it's much harder to keep one. With every new Lillian Custom Home, we promise energy efficiency through lower utility bills. To make the commitment of energy efficiency tangible, we have partnered with Efficiency Promise to provide a guarantee on the energy used to heat and cool your home. If the combined actual usage of electricity or natural gas exceeds the amount guaranteed on your home, Efficiency Promise will pay 100% of the difference for the first 2 years after your home is complete!
How does Efficiency Promise determine the amount of energy required to heat and cool my home?
The Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Index is the industry standard by which a home's energy efficiency is measured. Created by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), the HERS Index is the nationally recognized system for inspecting and calculating a home's energy performance. With one number, homeowners and buyers can tell how energy efficient a home is. The lower the score, the better the energy performance of a home.
You can see above that Lillian Custom Homes are well below the standard new home rating on the HERS index. For Lillian homeowners this means lower energy bills, less impact on the environment, higher resale value and much more!

We are proud to offer new homes that have earned the ENERGY STAR label because it means your home has been designed and built to standards well above most other homes on the market today.
The result of a home built better. An Energy Star home meets strict requirements set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Energy Star also requires tried-and-true best building practices and more inspections and testing by certified professionals.
Better systems make all the difference. A new home is a big investment, so it's important that it be designed with features built to last. A high-efficiency heating, ventilation and cooling system, high performance windows, comprehensive air sealing, quality installed insulation, and energy efficient lighting and appliances all contribute to creating an energy efficient home.
A better way to live. From the moment you walk in the door you'll see, feel and hear the difference of your Energy Certified Home. Enjoy a constant supply of fresh, filtered air, reducing indoor pollutants, dust, pollen and other allergens.
A better investment for today and tomorrow. Energy Star Certified homes have a better resale value and offer better energy efficiency and performance compared to other homes built to code by 10%.
